Digital X-rays

What is X-Ray Imaging?

X-Ray imaging is a machine that passes electromagnetic radiation through the body to generate imaging. The images are taken to see tissues and structures inside the body.

What to Expect?

One will expect to either sit, stand, or lie down on a table in a gown during the exam. Depending on whichever body part or limb is getting scanned one will be positioned and asked to stay still. In order to ensure crisp images are taken it is common hold your breath for a few seconds.
